God accelerates the effectiveness of your life. It doesn't matter how much you have left.

In approximately 3.5 years of ministry, Jesus did so many things the world could not contain the stories. Such a short time to have done so much.

How? Not because of His Own Deity (John 5:30) but because His Dependence on the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38.) His life and ministry was just like ours, completely dependent on Holy Spirit.

God did so much in 3.5 years. Imagine what God can do with 5yrs, 10yrs or more as we depend on the Holy Spirit as well.

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. John 21:25

Gods Super On Your Natural

Gods Super On Your Natural Supernatural!!!

We have a propensity toward the supernatural.


The success of the Avengers movie gives us a glimpse into our desire to live outside of the natural. Super strength from gamma-rays (Hulk.) God-like abilities from a god-like father (Thor.) A war-ready suit from an amazing intellect (Iron-man.) Amazing fighting abilities from a needle and shield (Captain America.) Which one do you want to be? (I have been asked that question by all my children.)


Of course there are other forms of media that show that too. Wizards, vampires, and zombies seem to dominate the bookshelves and movie screens. These are especially popular among our young people. (Parents: Find out what your children are reading and watching.)


Where does this fascination come from? Is it all demonically inspired? Or, could also be from a desire we have for God and to walk in His Supernatural abilities?


A teen takes down a giant with a single stone. A man tells a king's dream and gives it interpretation. A shout of a people flattens a city's protective wall. Three men walk through fire. Two men walk on water. One man gets translated many miles. One man shakes a viper off his hand and lives. A prophet outruns kings horses for miles.


These are in the Bible.


What about working miracles? Healings? Supernatural knowledge and wisdom? Spirit of power?


Does God intend for us to live outside of what we have experienced as natural? A resounding YES!


Sunday we are going to be exploring God putting His Super on our natural.


Each Sunday in the month of December 1 boy and 1 girl in each service will receive a gift. There will be a drawing during the service. Make sure your children get a ticket.


December 23 every child will receive a gift after the service.

As of last count we have 172 families, not people, who have registered for a food box. We expect that number to be over 200 families. Therefore over 400 people will be feed by this effort.

This Sunday (11/11) & Wednesday (11/14) we need everyone to bring in specific food items: canned beans, corn, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, yams, lemonade mix.

Last year we saw the largest crowd in ENC history with many salvations, healings and several joining the church.

Relationships: Right Actions = Right Results... not always

Right Actions Does Not Always Guarantee Right Results... especially when it includes other people.
"as much as depends on you"... meaning you do what you can do to be a peace with others. But notice:

"If it is possible"... the "if" means its not guaranteed.

Why? God doesn't make people do anything: right or wrong. You can do everything possible to live a peace with others, yet God will allow the other person to reject peace.

Question: so why even try to "live peaceably with all men"? After all that can be hard heart wrenching work.

Answer: obedience (the real response to loving God) rather than results. We aim to live peaceable the others we love God and obey Him. We desire the results, but that is not why we choose peace.

Also note: many times your efforts will produce the desired result of peace.

Remember: God will take care of you even if the other person chooses wrongly.

"If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord." Romans 12:18-19

Touch The Word and Receive The Power

The woman kept saying that if she touched Him she would be healed. She did it. She touched the hem (the tassel) of garment. The tassel had a blue thread of the covenant on it (Numbers 15:37-40.)

She touched the Word that Jesus was carrying and power was released. Jesus did not release it. She placed a demand on the Power of God by touching the Word of God.

Tell yourself over and over again, "As I touch the Word, speak the Word, act on the Word of God I will be healed." Then do it. Gods Power is present now to heal your life, family, health, finances, ministry any area of brokenness.

But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Luke 8:46

Authority: A necessary ingredient for miracles

Authority: A necessary ingredient for walking in miracles. 
They questioned Jesus "by what authority" did He do these things, miracles. Jesus responded by asking them a question. 

Notice: Jesus confirmed that He did things by authority. The pharisees seemed to be right in understanding how miracles were worked by Jesus. Jesus was going tell them "by what authority" He did the miracles.
Take Away: If we want to walking in miracles we need to understand authority. The church needs a revelation of the authority of the believer for us to work the miracles Jesus desires us to work.

Application: Search the Word for understanding of the authority of the believer. A good place to start is Ephesians 1 & 2. You are seated with Christ far above all other authorities and powers. There are several ministers who have Biblically sound teaching on this subject.
"But Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things:" Matthew 21:24

His Promise Is Your Proof

Gods demands us to believe His promises.

I have heard many people find reasons why judgement came to David when he numbered (or made a census of) the people (see I Chronicles 21:1-17 & II Samuel 24:1-15.) Correctly it is pointed out that an offering should have been made for the people that was not offered. Others have said it points to David wanting to take pride in the size of the army. These are all correct, I am sure.

Yet, these answers never really settled the question for me.  I might note that I have just trusted that God had a good reason and I know He is just. Yet, as not wanting to repeat David's mistake, I have been had a reverent curiosity as to why such sever consequences for a "census."

To me these two passages give some clarity into how offensive it was to God:

23 But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.  24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.  I Chronicles 27:23-24

and

And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel.  I Chronicles 21:3

It seems that David's action was seen as a lack of faith in the promise God made that He "would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens."  God just wanted David to believe it without proof.  Just believe.

So, David's action was not of faith in Gods Promise, therefore it was sin to him (Romans 14:23).

Accept God's promise and make His Word the only proof and verification you need.  We are called to just live like His Word is coming to pass in our lives.
