Egg Hunt, Easter Sunday, and more...

Greetings!

The greatest event in history is celebrated this weekend.

This is the time we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  This event is the very basis of our faith and the necessary requirement for our walk with God.  No other happening compares!

I want to encourage you to make this weekend special.  Why? Because it is special.  This should be the highest day in the Christian calendar.  If any day is celebrated, it should be this day.

Parents, make it special with your family.  Brothers and sisters in Christ make this special with your church.  Pastors make this special with your congregation.

Sure, we can remember this day everyday.  We need to make special effort to commemorate this every church service.  Yet, there should be something extra on this weekend to let everyone around know God did something for them they could not have done for themselves.

Please make it a point to come to church this Sunday, any church really... and bring someone with you.

People really get saved during Easter service.  We all know those who come Christmas and Easter only.  I call them CEO's, Christmas Easter Onlys.

Make no mistake though.  I have known several committed, active believers who started out as a CEO.  You just invite them, let the Holy Spirit do the work in their heart.
