The Word Will Try You

The Word (the Promise) God made to Joseph tried, tested him.


Would he faithful and full of faith despite everything going against him.


A fathers doubt.
A brothers betrayal.
A false accusation.
A forgotten promise.
An impossible task.


Most of all years of delay and potential doubt. 


Understand:  You don't try the Word of God... The Word of God will try you.


Will you be faithful and full of faith?
Will you trust His Word until it comes to pass in your life?


Joseph passed the test and received the promise. 


So will you in Jesus Name.


Psalm 105:17-19 AMP
He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold as a servant.   His feet they hurt with fetters; he was laid in chains of iron  and  his soul entered into the iron,  Until his word [to his cruel brothers] came true, until the word of the Lord tried  and  tested him.

Strife & Offense: God is still working on us

Strife should never be entertained or tolerated. 

Yet, we fail, still being in the flesh. Does it mean we don't love God? Does it mean the other person doesn't love God?

One reason people leave churches is strife and offense. Trust me both happen. 

Paul & Barnabas walked in strife, got offended and left each other. Yet God continued to use both of them mightily. Eventually their relationship was healed. 

Point is: Dont give up on God and His people when you see strife and offense among them. Church is made of imperfect people serving a perfect God. He is still working on all of us. 

"Then the contention became so sharp that they parted from one another." Acts 15:39

Pack the House, Car Give-a-Way and More...

This week has been powerful with Pastor Benny Hinn.  Many at ENC attended the meetings and we will never be the same.  Expecting a double anointing on everything God has called us to do.  

 

Thank you to every who helped provide a dinner for the Kane family during this difficult time.  What a blessing to be part of such a loving church.  When you stand with us you never stand alone.

I encourage you to belong to a cell group.  Their purpose is discipleship and relationship.  They meet at various times at various places for 1 hour weekly.

Pack The House - Car Give-A-Way

During the month of June we have been in a Church Growth Challenge with the other extension ministries of Evangel World Prayer Center.  This Sunday is the last Sunday for this promotion.  

 

We want to Pack The House.  I encourage you to invite as many people as you can.  To help you promote this, we are going to give away a car.  Yes, a car.  

 

The car was donated.  It runs and is safe.  Someone will leave the service with the keys and title to the car.

 

Keep in mind this is not get you to church.  You are mature enough not to need this type of promotion.  This is a bit of bait on the hook to catch men.

 

We know the bait can entice them, the Holy Spirit will clean them.

How To Pray For Money 

This Sunday we are going to find out how to pray for money.  Actually, we are going to find that we are not to pray for money.  Yet there are spiritual laws of authority we can employ that causes increase and multiplication to manifest in our lives.  

 

I know this will be a blessing to you.  This was one of the most powerful revelations in my life.  It has produced results in my in amazing ways.

*** God has given us the authority to rebuke every hindrance of the enemy

Faith = Fight

1 Timothy 6:12 NKJV
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses


Some people expect a walk by faith without a fight.  That's just not possible .
To lay hold of eternal life means its not going to just fall into your lap.  You have to rise up and get it!  Fight for it.  


I am not trying to be ugly but we have got to stop excusing our lack of receiving by being unwilling to fight.  Then we blame God, when we did not fight for what He had given us.


Eternal life begins today.  Everything God has made available to you is available right now.  Eternal life begins today.


You lay hold of eternal life by faith.  But faith is a fight.  To expect a walk by faith and not have a fight is a set up for disaster.


This verse tells us we must fight a good fight of faith by confessing a good confession.  That means you're going to keep confessing your faith.  That's how you fight.


Therefore you fight the fight of faith by maintaining your confession laying hold of eternal life. 
Sounds simple yet not easy on the flesh.  You and I need to stay in the Word of God and in the Holy Spirit.

Call Gods Promises In Your Life "Fulfilled."

Find out and declare who you are from His Word. 

Don't allow others to define you.

"16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.21 And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." Luke 4


Here we see how Jesus functioned in His Call.  He found out Who He was through the Word of God.  


That day He stood up and read it out loud.  They heard it.  Every demon in heal heard it.  Most of all He heard it.  Then He said it is fulfilled.  


When you and I start declaring Gods Promises over our lives something powerful happens.  A stability manifests that opposition can not take away.  All of a sudden how people treat you or what happens to you won't stop you.  

Keep it in the "already done" tense.  Most people are talking what God is going to do.  They put the promises in the future.  It makes since to our natural mind.  

Yet, to change things now and in the future you call it as though its done.  

Isaiah 46:10-11,

Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
¹¹ Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.

Here is how it works.  At the beginning (NOW) declare the ending (RESULT.)

Start calling Gods Promises in your life "fulfilled."  Quit putting everything in the future tense.  Call it done now, and it will be.

MANIFESTATION WILL HAPPEN!!!

When you know who you are from His Word, others may not like it, but they will see it and results will testify to it.


"36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.37 And the report about Him went out into every place in the surrounding region." Luke 4

Multiply, Mens Breakfast, Fathers Day and more

This week has been powerful.  

As a fun start of last Sundays service we gave away (2) $50 gas cards. 

CELL GROUP MEETING

After church we had a meeting with those desiring to lead a cell group.  We are expecting about 10 people.  Over 30 came to the meeting.  

I encourage you to belong to a cell group.  Their purpose is discipleship and relationship.  They meet at various times at various places for 1 hour weekly.

FATHERS DAY   

In celebration of Fathers Day, we are giving away several gifts (tools, gift certificates to restaurants, oil changes.)

We are also going to be having a Baby Dedication ceremony for several who have signed up.  Yet, if you have not already signed up and desire to dedicate your children you can participate as well.

Most people do not know this because of their experience with earthly fathers.  Even those who had good fathers do not fully understand how easy the Father is to receive from.

How To Be Led By The Spirit of God...

Greetings!

Wow, what a powerful Pentecost Sunday.

The church was full of people hungry for more of the Holy Spirit working in their lives.  In fact, 4 people came forward to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit.  All 4 were baptized with the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.  Thank You, Jesus.

We are in the midst of a 4 part series on the Holy Spirit.  This Sunday we will deliver a message How To Be Led By The Holy Spirit.

The Bible says in Romans 8:14, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God."

God desires to give us direction and power in our lives.  He wants to show you what to do and how to do it.  Sadly many dont know that God wants to speak to them or how to hear it when He does.

We are also going to be looking at the importance of depending the Holy Spirit everyday.  Jesus did nothing apart from the Holy Spirit helping Him. Act 10:38.  We need to allow the Holy Spirit to led, guide and empower us everyday.

As we deliver Gods Word on being led by the Holy Spirit, faith is going to arise in you to hear God like never before.  You are going to learn to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit every day.  You will never be the same.

NEW PARTNERS SERVICE & POTLUCK LUNCH:
Several families who believe in what God is doing at ENC are going to join us this Sunday.  We are going to receive them into our fellowship.  There is also going to be pot-luck lunch after service.  So bring a dish to share with everyone.
