Gods Super On Your Natural Supernatural!!!
We have a propensity toward the supernatural.
The success of the Avengers movie gives us a glimpse into our desire to live outside of the natural. Super strength from gamma-rays (Hulk.) God-like abilities from a god-like father (Thor.) A war-ready suit from an amazing intellect (Iron-man.) Amazing fighting abilities from a needle and shield (Captain America.) Which one do you want to be? (I have been asked that question by all my children.)
Of course there are other forms of media that show that too. Wizards, vampires, and zombies seem to dominate the bookshelves and movie screens. These are especially popular among our young people. (Parents: Find out what your children are reading and watching.)
Where does this fascination come from? Is it all demonically inspired? Or, could also be from a desire we have for God and to walk in His Supernatural abilities?
A teen takes down a giant with a single stone. A man tells a king's dream and gives it interpretation. A shout of a people flattens a city's protective wall. Three men walk through fire. Two men walk on water. One man gets translated many miles. One man shakes a viper off his hand and lives. A prophet outruns kings horses for miles.
These are in the Bible.
What about working miracles? Healings? Supernatural knowledge and wisdom? Spirit of power?
Does God intend for us to live outside of what we have experienced as natural? A resounding YES!
Sunday we are going to be exploring God putting His Super on our natural.
Each Sunday in the month of December 1 boy and 1 girl in each service will receive a gift. There will be a drawing during the service. Make sure your children get a ticket.
December 23 every child will receive a gift after the service.
Christmas Party - This Sunday December 2
Bring your favorite dish.
Also, CHRISTMAS PICTURES at the dinner after the 11AM only.

Sunday December 2 we are welcoming several new families as Covenant Partners (aka Members.) You can too!
Like communion, water baptism, anointing with oil and so on, there are many ways we express inward truths with outward expressions. Openly becoming a partner (member) of a church you love follows this pattern. We welcome you.
The Path to Partnership:
1. Get your Covenant Partner Packet in the foyer of the church. Fill it out and turn it in.
2. Get FREE Partner CDs and listen to them. Our Sound/Media department will gladly give these to you. This is a convenient way to fulfill the required membership CDs.
3. Attend service December 2.
Dont just attend, belong. :)
